Front Grill Badge illumination

Hello to one and all. Topping my washer bottle up I noticed what looks like a wired cable going in to the back of my Lexus NX300h grill badge. I presume it lights up the Badge if and when will it illuminate ??

Do you have radar cruise (adaptive cruise) control? The radar sits behind the the grill emblem.

I don't know of any Lexus model that has an illuminated grill emblem

Yep, it's the radar. And silly expensive to repair/replace if the worst should happen, apparently it's around £600!!
