Is200 rear window

Hi all been a while since i last posted but I have another issue so I have a 2004 is200 which has developed a strange fault drivers side rear electric window has stopped working just makes a clicking sound from the switch when operated all other windows are fine any idears would be much appreciated thanks.

Hi George,

I assume it’s the same from both the driver’s master switch and individual switches?

I think the door interior panel will have to come off to investigate further, with the clicking it would indicate a relay is operating so you have some power but first check fuses 4 and 6 in the passenger side fuse box (see photo) as there are individual fuses for the rear windows. From there it could be a faulty motor or jammed mechanism.

Hi Steve well the last time that window was opened the person in the back said it was slow going up so if that's the case could it be the motor just cuts out if it feels any resistance?but yes ill have a look at the fuses you mention thanks for responding.
