Hil everyone. Does anyone know what that little swich under the steering wheel tilt gear is for? I have an Altzz AS200 Auto.

Also I want to know how easy is it to sell my Tezz. Would I be better off part exchanging it or is there a better way of selling it? Please help.

I dont know abt the swicth. is it like a dial that u have to turn or a swicth u press?

Are there two of them or just one?

And as for p/x never p/x a car ure better off selling it off in an auction. Youll get more there than you would get in a p/x deal!

I'd suspect it's the radio band expander.

If you have a Japanese stereo in the car, then the FM bands covered are 76 Mhz - 90 Mhz. The switch should allow you to receive all the fm stations abvoe 90 Mhz. Just flick it and see.

The display on th eradio won't change (at least it doesn't on mine) but you will be able to receive all the UK stations.

As for selling, you will always get a better deal selling privately, but the price offered will be lower than for a comparable Lexus, unless you find someone who specifically wants a Tezza. But then you paid less for it when you bought it didn't you?

Enjoy it and don't woorry about selling. I intend to get several years out of mine before worrying about selling. :D

All the radio expanders that i have installed/ had installed have all gone behind the head units ( You can`t see them?)

the air purifier switch, that is under the steering tilt adjust. not all got them,mine dont. if it is equipped with it, the rear parcel shelf should have a vent box on the middle between the speakers.

Thanks everyone. It is not a radio expander. It is press on/off switch. It may be an air purifier as suggested by Mark. The raido expander is a good idea though. How can I have one istalled? It is a DIY job. How much is it. How should I go about buying one?
