New Is200.. A Few Questions...

Recommended Posts

Collecting my IS200SE tomorrow, saw it on friday on a Lexus dealer forecourt. Astral Black SE 03plate with 1 mile onthe clock. Yes, ONE mile on the clock. :)

Just a few questions if you guys could help. A complete newbies to cars. Been looking for anti-roll bars, what's the difference between a 'member brace' and a 'strut brace'? saw it on TRD's website.

Strut Brace goes on top of the suspension Struts ( In engine bay & in boot, Member brace go underneath the car.. (Ask Mat C for these... he makes his own Superior quality ones... in Red...)

I see. Thanks for the info. :)

I was doing a little research regarding strut brace, is it true that without an uprated suspension, strut brace is pretty much useless?

Thinking of fitting it to my new car.

A massive noticeable difference in deed...

I do have the TTE ones Besty. The fronts are much thicker and stiffer then the oem ones, the rears are a little thicker but have 3 stiffness settings, I currently have mine set in the middle and they offer a dramatic handling difference on the car.

The car feels so much more responsive and steering tighter.

I also brought the under chassis braces off mat Supracharged but not yet fitted these to give a review. Dave Ellen has fitted his and is very happy with them.
