Hi Baz and welcome to Lexus ownership and the best Lexus forum there is. What year is your car and what made you want to get it? Photos are always welcome and expected lol. Don't know anything about meets but keep your eyes open in the relevant parts of the forum.

Hello and welcome Baz  Great choice ( I'm biased ) having owned a 250C for 6 years .This is a great forum with plenty of helpful members ,I do all my own maintenance so we can assist with this car which from all accounts is very reliable . I am keeping this car for a few years as I cannot think of a replacement that suits our needs
