Key fob receiver

Hi,I am new to this forum, I have a problem with my SC430 key not opening the doors or boot ,been to Lexus and wouldn't you know it, it worked every time, but it is playing up again, anyone had the same problem.

could it be the main battery on the car that's playing-up ?

Quite possibly interference from another source. Especially when you say it worked when you got to Lexus. Had this on an '02 IS and an '06 RX.

Welcome Ian. We have much knowledge of matters Lexus, but there is a wealth of SC430 specific  knowledge amidst members in Lexusworld.com in which we have many friends.

Agree with comments above. I've known this happen when the key Battery needed to be replaced and also a couple of times when I left the car unlocked for a while and it hasn't auto-locked itself.
