How to check tyre pressure

I might have missed it but nothing on there about only checking tyre pressures when the tyres are cold? Ideally before the car is driven anywhere, so one would really need a pressure gauge at home, not everyone has a garage compressor at home!

Some time ago I invested in a Battery operated tyre inflator.  Very handy not only to inflate tyres, but also to give them a quick check before driving off.

Mine’s called an SKEY Cordless, but many others are available.

Much more reliable than the type that connects to the car’s power sockets.  And I’m too old for a foot pump!
