Sat in the back!

Recommended Posts

I have had my IS for 5 years but only just recently sat in the back. Their is more room than I thought. Not as much as in the wife’s Jazz which has more room than an E class but still plenty of room. I also found it has reading lights at the back too.  I did find it a bit difficult to get out again but a nice place to sit. However I suspect it will be cramped with three in the back with the transmission tunnel.

All I need now is a Chauffeur!

For most adults, there isn't enough head room to sit on the middle seat.  And the "shoulders" that run along the body sides take many inches away from the width (although they do look nice 😉). And then as you say there is a large transmission tunnel. All this means it's really a 4+1, but a comfortable one for the 4.
