seriously, looks a tad all ok tbh from these piccys .....  I'd be upfront there pronto if I was to lose mine right now, to buy her ......  not sure what the rear screen aerial is all about though ......  any ideas ?

These early motors have more service parts than the later 400’s. I’m thinking distributor parts and early teething issues.

The later 400’s are the fastest in their class so performance is delightful 🤭.

Any 400 is a great choice - they’re not cheap or free of maintenance cost though.

Glad I can wield spanners and do most work myself…not all…but it’s a judgement call isn’t it.

my maintenance costs have really been quite tiny at 234k miles of which in 10 years I have done 110k or so ...........  Just normal annual MOT and servicing and a few age related issues like UCAs , alternator and of course tyres and brakes are the big'uns

I dread to think what a Merc or BMW might have cost me at the same running !

and of course I've used my indy too ...  that probably saves me nigh on £100 an hour labour charges these days
