Hi, I just picked up my IS200 last night, it's great so far but I can't find any info on the cambelt since it's last change in 2012. Does anyone know of a good independent in the South Lakes / Kendal area? Thanks for any help. (No pics yet as it needs a clean!)

Hi Ed and welcome to Lexus ownership and the best Lexus forum there is. Very good choice of car you've made.  There's a section here for gen 1 IS cars which yours is. In there are tons of posts to read which are excellent and also there are a good number of very very knowledgeable folk on the gen 1 IS. As for a garage to use, what garage do you normally use and do you think they'll be able to do a cambelt charge?

Hello Ed and welcome to the LOC, hoping you find the forum educational and informative,as regards your cambelt I would have it changed as soon as possible. Any decent garage should be able to do it👍
