Just wonder is there any must have features added while I am at it?

I suppose it's a very personal thing, so you may not get many replies.

For instance, I cannot understand why you wouldn't want the seat to retract when the ignition is switched off as it makes it far easier to get in/out of the car, so for me, that's a 'must have', but obviously not for you.

I've never needed the windows to be operated by the remote* but I think it may already do that with a long press?

*Far too much opportunity for a 'false' press while the remote is in my pocket.

I suppose the seat and steering wheel retraction tuen off would add life expectancy to the parts motors ?

I have left the windows and sunroof open in rain , never did it on my other cars , used to long press and all windows would be closed , it was great. This has to be programmed , not default on.

I suppose your right.

Anything will last for a long time if you don't use it. By your logic you could turn it off now in 2021 so that it'll work when you want it to in 2028?

It is indeed.

Can’t remember how to do it, but I set mine for the wheel to retract and the seat to stay in the same position. It’s somewhere in the settings, no special coding needed. To make sure the steering wheel motor doesn’t get buggered up, I wait until it’s stopped moving before holding the wheel while getting out.

Hi Ronan

Is this a dealer option to programme the additional functionality into the keys??

I bought 2 keys from lexus milton keynes uk last week and enquired when i ordered them about added functions but the guy just gave me a puzzled look so i gave up

I'd love the windows and roof to close on the lock press

Thanks
Si

Hi,

So I got the guy to program the windows to all close or all open and the sunroof from the keys. Took 10 mins max. He used Techstream

Excellent addition.
