Hey, just a quick question for you all.

I'm pretty sure the Battery in my key fob is on it's way out as it sometimes unlocks the car and sometimes doesn't (mainly in cold weather).

The Battery that's in it currently in a CR1616, or somethin along them lines, but it alot smaller than the hole where the Battery sits in. Is this the right one or not?

Colin's usually correct so I'd say go with what he says.

I'll just add in that all the coin cells are the same voltage so from that point of view, any will do. The numbers actually refer to the size of the cell, so a CR1616 is 16mm diameter, 1.6mm high; a CR2032 is 20mm diameter, 3.2mm high and so on. If you think it looks too small "in the hole" you could go bigger if you wanted to.
