Thanks for accepting me into your club. I'm currently on the lookout for a used Lexus RX 450h(2009-2013). Should i be worried about the many I am seeing with high mileage or be more focused on the service history and condition of the car ?

Hi and welcome to the LOC, sorry you haven’t disclosed your first name and I doubt it’s “Lexus”?

As John mentions maintenance and servicing trump mileage, the vehicle could have higher mileage due to a lot of motorway travel or occasional European touring but provided the servicing has been carried out as and when required these cars are well built and remain reliable.

This is particularly important on hybrid models in order to maintain the hybrid Battery warranty.

If you do find an example that interests you feel free to post up the details so members can provide feedback and input before you commit to viewing or purchase. If a prospective purchase is far away members local to it have in the past volunteered to go and view the car and report back.
