Is300h front bumper

They changed the design of the radar sensor for the facelift MY2017 where it seems to be more affected by removal of the bumper.

The repair manual states for MY2017 onwards:

Quote

When the front bumper is damaged or deformed due to an accident or contact with other objects, etc., or the bumper installation area on the body is repaired, it is necessary to perform millimeter wave radar sensor adjustment.

I still believe the module is mounted to the frame of the vehicle and not the bumper so if you don't disturb it you shouldn't need to check/adjust alignment.

No damage to bumper just th usual stone chips, so fingers crossed.
