Hi guys, i have a 2009 gs450h and i had a bad shock absorber on the rear. Over speed bumps the rear wos not absorbing the bump equal and one side was softer.

Just changed now both shoks with regular ones and the feeling its the same, like one side it's softer...

Springs are with no damage...

Is this normal? What should i look for?

Thanks in advance

Radu

Have you gained any extra weight during lockdown?

On a serious side... does the car sit evenly when stationary and evenly loaded? And have the springs been kept the same? There are so many factors in suspension dynamics, could be anything. Have you inspected the support assembly/strut mount?

Just to clarify....have you replaced just the rear suspension with coil spring/strut suspension and left the front on air?

I had the Normal/sport shocks and installed non hybrid ones without sensors.

The same feeling i had before with the old ones and i was blaming the leaking shock.

HI Radu

From what I have picked up frm this forum gs450h shocks are dealer only - did you replace with genuine items?

Yes genuine KYB shocks. Just curios on the ride quality, just sold my rx450h with air suspension and i find this gs odd over speed bumps

On inspection the mecanic could not see anything wrong, i checked as well.
