Softer ride for is300h premier

Recommended Posts

Hi I’m exporting my car and I need a softer ride as the roads there are poor. Has anyone experience of changing wheel/tyre size to get softer ride, I’m not worried about handling. The average road speed is about 20mph !  Thanks in advance

According to Lexus, you can fit 205/55/R16 tyres too. A 55 profile tyre should be more comfortable. Also, the pressure guidance is the same, although I'd personally consult someone knowledgeable about lowering the pressure too, only slightly, from 2.5 to 2.3-4 bars perhaps, with the caveat that you really don't go fast on poor roads.

Yes. The only downside is that they don't look as good. The 17" wheels on the Executive might be a compromise and were an option (I'm guessing, a free one) on these from new.
