Locked Out?!

Hey all, 

I Went to see my dad the other day, when it was time to leave I couldn't get into my car, the keyless entry thing wouldn't work.

I had no choice but to use the Key, that set the alarm off, which then involved another 5 minutes messing about trying to start the car. Eventually for some reason it started and the alarm stopped. 

Very Strange....

Any idea what it could have been? my dad has the same car (MY 10) said it's happened to him a few times in the 9 years he's had his. Could it be that our key fobs signals were interfering with each other? had a quick look on here and it doesn't seem to be a common issue.

How old is your fob Battery?

Hi Lee. This has happened to at least one on here recently. Search the forum as it was well replied to.

I'm not sure, The Battery on the spare was dead and had to be replaced when I bought the car so Battery on this one probably isn't far behind.
