Lexus Relax Warranty and Modifications

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have experience with Lexus Relax warranty and modifying the vehicle please?

My car has always been serviced by Lexus so is currently covered, however, if I start changing wheels, suspension and exhaust would this void the warranty?

Thank you in advance!

It would normally void the warranty on any part that you've changed but changing the exhaust won't void the warranty on unrelated parts such as the aircon compressor or whatever.

Herbie is right, they generally advise its ok but of course aftermarket parts are not covered.

Not read the terms for Lexus Relax, however I have read them for my Extended Warranty and it states in there that if the aftermarket part is found to be the cause of an OEM part failure, then warranty would not pay in that case.

Guess it's subjective case by case.
