also has a five farad cap and an optima battery,

Makes me chuckle the way the 'ICE boyz' talk about farads :)

No apparent understanding of how HUGE a single farad is ...

They just 'KNOW' they need more and more of them :D

See that tweeter.... thas a million watts that is :lol:

are you meaning we dont know what were talking about ?

what sub you planning to run ?

you can put your amps anywhere, its all about your personal design. if you get nice matching amps it can be nice to have them on show. or you can just hide them away. best thing to do is get ideas from other peoples designs.

2 X VIBE PT100 10" 600W RMS TOTAL

yea trying get a mathcing amp at a decent price :duh:

One of my problems is that i already have a boot liner in.....

I've also got a 15" Kicker L5 installed in my boot well in a custom fiberglass box. Its running of my digital kenwood mono amp that giving out 500wrms at 1ohm. I have also installed two 1 farad power capacitors to help the bass out.

Power Caps a bit further down on the list

If your pushing 600 wrms then you will get lights diming

 I had it in my other cars :whistling:

1st things 1st, gotta make the RCA connection.

Dean, are you using the OEM Head unit? if so, how did you connect the amp?

no the original head unit did not have the vesatility and options I wanted so

I went for the Kenwood KVT920, cause it had the TV, touchscreen, 3 preouts etc etc. and the kenwood music keg which is awesome !

all of my speakers are behind the original grills so its all hidden away, well apart from when you open the boot, and to me the sound quality is just as important as the bass !

no point talking to you then :P  Seriously tho, the standard system is enuff good for me, just no mp3 or DAB. And as I have NAV a new head unit would cost ££££ and be loads of hassle.

PS Dean get yourself a LOC GARAGE ;)

I want to get the looks right before I move onto the sounds - don't get me wrong, I don't want in your face - just 'quietly stealthy'.

Alan theres so much to do, and so little time and money
