Selling my 2007 gs450h SE-L

I’ve reluctantly decided to sell my car as the boot is just too small for my needs. I’ve just had new batteries fitted by Richard at Hybrid Battery solutions as well but hey ho (fitted in November with a 3 year guarantee ) The car is in great condition for its age and has had the oil pump bearings replaced together with a gearbox oil change and rear diff. The car had a full service by me in July, plugs k&n air filter oil etc., front and rear discs are virtually brand new together with Michelin Pilot sport 4 tyres all round.

The only issue I have is the rattle on start up from the VVTI phasers, but it only happens if the car has not been started for  a few hours. Most people that know these cars and Toyota in general are aware of these issues but I have priced the car accordingly! Please contact me for pictures and more info on the car. It will have a new MOT and has covered 91,500 miles. All books and 2 keys plus a fairly comprehensive service history.  Priced to sell £6,750 ovno.

You might want to put a few more details + pictures.

I didn't think the SE-L version was actually introduced till after 2007 for example, mine is a 2007 SE which I'm guessing is the same one you have.
The pre-facelift SE has most of the features the post-facelift SE-L and lots more features than the post-facelift SE so an easy mistake to make.

The Reg No. would be useful for those interested parties who wish to check out the M.O.T. history of the vehicle before making an offer.

Ok , the cars reg number is GU56YDA, and it was first registered on the 31.1 2007. It has the sunroof and active cruise control, which in my opinion is one of the great inventions, once you’ve had it you won’t want to go back to “normal cruise”.

I’ve had the whole bonnet treated and re sprayed due to oxidisation, the car has no rust that is apparent to me. Just before I got it, the previous owner had the aux Battery changed, so should be good for a few more years! I changed the wheels as I didn’t really like the originals, but I do have them, therefore they will come with the car.

The MOT runs out on the 26nd February. If anyone shows real interest in the car I will get it tested early I will but I’m not sure how early I can get it done.

Yep, pretty sure that is the SE. Its basically identical to mine bar the colour, wheels and 100k miles 😉

Looks good!

I thought it was SE-L myself Steve.

My SE does not have a Sunroof or a Deflector on the Boot-lid.

My bad, I was mis-remembering another thread. I thought it was normal and SE before facelift but apparently it was normal SE and SE-L.
Sport was the only new one introduced.

Sunroof was optional on SE, standard on the SE-L.
Only difference between pre-facelift SE/SE-L seems to be the adaptive cruise control as far as I can see. Otherwise his
looks identical to mine inside and out (well his paintjob is much better 😉

My SE does have the deflector but that might have been an optional extra.

Hi, I’ve just bought a Jaguar XF Sportsbrake, 3 litre V6 diesel! I play golf and was fed up taking the wheels off my trolley and putting the clubs on the back seat! I’ve always fancied the Sportsbrake and one came up that was to good to turn down..not quite a hybrid but similar mpg believe it or not..
