Are Lexus making a RHD version ???

That may be the reason why it's not coming here. Lets face it they only sold 70ish GSF's, but they were available for the JDM market and in Aus too. It might not be available in Japan, hence not here?

Must admit like the understated looks. Proper Q car, and there's not many of them around, if any.  All now too shouty and bling.

I'd much rather have a GSF if I needed a four door four seater. Far superior car in every respect.

Savagegeese have done an excellent review on Youtube

It’s not an ISF, IS500-F sport, only available in US, very divided opinion, main one being it’s not an F and will never be accepted as one 🤷🏼‍♂️……. Lots of short falls with equipment when comparing to an F…… think it’s pitched as more of a cruiser

Glad im not the only one that noticed post header was wrong…. 😂 ISF 500…  its a f-sport… sorry my belief of F being superior to the f-sports  is raising its (and my) ugly head here lol

but saying that id still have one but would never try and up badge it to a F status regardless its a 500

Indeed the Savagegeese video explains that, by all accounts Lexus USA requested this vehicle to be made for the American market.

Not an F as you say, still rather have a GSF or an ISF with the Tein active coil-over kit on. I did try an ISF way back in time loved it except for the harsh ride and exhaust tips. If I were after a four door four seater.

US market always dictates, just based on volumes.

Just over 1m Lexus sales in Europe since 1990’s. US Lexus sales just over 1m a year, based on Q4 ending Sep 2020.

Good News 😄

The IS 500 is launching in Japan, this means that import companies and maybe even Lexus dealers* will be bringing them to the UK.

*They shouldn't get in trouble for this like they did with the "Lexus Soarer" debacle xD

This will also mean it’s restricted to 112mph, the ISF is near on impossible to get the restriction removed as it’s built into the car……..not sure if the restrictor has ever been successfully removed tbh…….will still deliver the same 0-62 time, tbh it’s not like we’ve anywhere to do 168
