Excellent! Bet you can't wait for summer! It certainly looks like you've had a lovely day, I took the dog out and had to wear gloves! And that's a beautiful looking SC you've got there.

Hi Phil

Thanks, I have had it 7 months and I smile every time I get behind the wheel 😃

Yes I love my car especially with the top down and I'm lucky my son feels the same.

Yes seems unusual for us to have better weather up North but I'm sure you will get your turn

There's a guy around here who I occasionally see in his SC430, it's that sort of unusual very dark burgundy, it's a wonderful looking car. Having had three LS430's I know the SC has one of the finest engines ever built!

Hi Phil

I know the colour you are talking about but I have only seen one in the flesh!

Having driven several LS400 in the past I was always impressed by the engine and the quality,20211001_132733.thumb.jpg.98c654653845ac3227f7be50c56dbc9b.jpg so when I finally got the opportunity to buy a convertible the SC430 was always going to be the top of my list!

Brilliant weather here in the Pennines, I've been enjoying several local runs with the top down. I don't think it gets any better!20220318_144213.thumb.jpg.37ef8e94cbf3aafe51dc8598e76896d2.jpg

Come on guys, get those tops down and share the pics!

I can't believe that none of you guys have enjoyed the glorious weather today and got some photographic proof!

Just got back with Lexiguy Junior after having a run over the Pennines then round and back. We both loved our time out.

Looks great and I'm quite jealous. That's just what the SC430 was made for, not slumbering in the garage....which is where mine is. 🙁

Good to see standards being maintained too with the chauffeur wearing a smart cap.

Hi Neil

Yes, she is no garage queen and was bought to be enjoyed!

He loves it and has even asked me to leave it to him in my will!!! (I'm hoping it will be very old by then...lol)

Hi Ant

Looking back at my depleted pic archive, there aren't many with the roof down or with scenery to match yours but here it is in the far North, South and West with at least a hint of sun.

Adsog.....translates to 'how to ruin an SC430' or 'a darker shade of grey.' I think you saw the vid.

The full build thread is lost in the ether for now of course but there is a mini version on here. 🙂

I had the silly (expensive) idea that the SC430 should have more of the qualities and character of the earlier world-beating grey import Soarer (I had 2 of those) and so set about giving it a darker personality.

Fantastic sunny morning in the Pennines!

Lexiguy Junior has requested a top down run out today, just contemplating the Peak District, Pennines or The Dale's?

Got Lexiguy Junior to help me with washing and vacuuming the car before we went out for a run.

We then went over the Pennines on the Woodhead Pass, then to Glossop, Tameside, Barnsley and Holmfirth.

Unable to upload a photo I took of washing the car and I cant hnderstand why but I will send them when it allows me!!!

It says:

"Sorry, an unknown server error occurred when uploading this file. Error code 200." What ever that means 🤔20220327_151644.thumb.jpg.8a5dc8a1de5530e918da3890e2ada865.jpg20220327_151701.thumb.jpg.3af6e3c8e3b6b743a32a77322c55a38c.jpg20220327_151644.thumb.jpg.8a5dc8a1de5530e918da3890e2ada865.jpg

We have walked up to the pub just up the road and the weather is glorious, definitely top down weather!

Planned and booked a road trip for a few days up to Beamish. Lexyiguy Junior is upset as this glamping stay is for grownups only!
