IS250 with newborn

Recommended Posts

Very interested in a IS250. We’ve got a 3 month old and so rear facing maxicosy car seat. Does anyone have any experience of these in an IS250?

Also any experience with carrying prams etc in boot.

help very much appreciated

Hi Robert and welcome to the LOC.

With my youngest offspring now over 30 years old I can’t offer much help today but I do know that the front passenger airbag needs turning off when a rear facing child seat is fitted in that position.

This should be in your owner’s manual but see the link below.

Hi Robert,

I don't have any experience with the maxicosy.

But I bought the is250 a month before my 2nd child was born (many moons ago). We had the Graco travel system. It had rear seat basket that would click into the pram. But it didn't have ISO fitting.

2 years after that we traveled to London with the same pram and suitcases and other stuff in the boot without any bother.

Sorry senior moment. I just realised that the info I originally posted was relevant to the 2IS and not 3IS 🤦🏽‍♂️

I am not sure which maxi cosi you are referring to, 360? Base with pebble or pebble plus? Or pebble on its own with seat belt set up.

Rear facing seat is a struggle behind driver seat unless you are 4 feet tall.

pram etc depends on the size, it should fit fine. Well mine did
