Are Halfords ok to carry out a full service I have a RX300 2003 57000 miles

Your money, your choice, but I wouldn't let Halfords even change a bulb, let alone do a service.

Mark hello and welcome to this forum  ....  I'm intrigued as to why you would want to use Halfords ........  have you had this esteemed car long and who's looked after it prior ?

There's much written here about your car and it's age would have normally taken a toll with rust, often very detrimentally so sadly ........ tell us more please.. we're here to help where we can .....  your car regn would maybe help us with MOT Advisories etc

Don't be alarmed by the name "Lexus". Yes, it's a Lexus but it's also just 'a car' with an engine, gearbox, suspension and so on, just like any other car on the road. You certainly don't need a Lexus dealer or even a Lexus specialist to work on it; just ask family and friends for personal recommendations of which garages they use and go to one they trust.

If you become a Gold Member of this club then you get a discount card to use at Halfords. In my personal opinion it's of limited use because Halfords is often overpriced and our discount only brings the cost down to what you'd pay elsewhere anyway. Having said that, they are open later than most other places and that's probably the only time I ever use them, i.e. if I need something immediately when other places are closed.

They are OK to buy 'stuff'  from (such as cleaning products and polishes etc) and tools, but I would never let a Halfords employee anywhere near my pride and joy with tools in his/her hands. Times may have changed, I don't know, but it used to be that the spanner guys weren't/aren't time-served mechanics but just folks who've attended a couple of in-house training courses for a couple of weeks and then are let loose on the public.

Mark, perhaps if you posted whereabouts you are in London then you might get a few recommendations on here.

Also, make a note of what might need to be done according to the service schedule, such a spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant, before getting a quote.

@mark oconnor

Like everyone is saying above Halfords is definitely not going to be your cheapest and best option but at the end of the day it's your choice. Those cars are super comfy but cost an arm and a leg to run so i wish you best of luck with that.
