IS300 bizarre warm start issue

I have seen a post somewhere about the fuel pump and also the injectors causing warm start issues.
Apparently if one or more of the injectors are leaking then fuel continues into the cylinders when the engine is turned off because the fuel is at a high pressure.

Yes sounds like a possible cause. Too much fuel due to a leaking injector, but not enough to cause a problem during normal running.

Try some injector cleaner, otherwise worth taking them out and getting them tested - if you do then replace the o-rings otherwise you will get an external fuel leak.

Apoligies for the delayed update. I have noticed that the problem has gotten significantly better and less frequent since I have stopped using RED X fuel additive with E10. I have also noticed that if the problem occurs but the engine starts without me requiring to press the throttle, then the car will idle low at around 500 - 600RPM.

Could this be an issue with my throttle cable? or I have read that it could be something to do with the VVTI solenoid?

Or does it still point to a leaky injector? Thanks
