Have a look at eBay classic Toyota, there is a 1988 soarer/griffin twin turbo for sale, the back looks like like an ES/LS.......pure japanese style!

thats awsome, yep the same basic engine as fitted to the is200.

whereas the is2 has a 1g-fe, this engine has the designation 1g-gte

i am gonna keep an eye on this auction................thats one cool auto

a transplant is possibe., and would be relatively straight forward.

in its day there were alot of tuning parts for the GTE version, there were also supercharged versions of the engine, and even HKS made a Hybrid supercharger/turbo kit for it.
