New Hks Parts For Altezza

HKS have just released some new parts for the Altezza. They are:

1) Turbo kit using the HKS GT-SS turbocharger which is good for 300hp.

2) Turbo kit using the HKS GT RS turbocharger which is good for 400hp.

Both come with stainless tubular manifold, front mounted intercooler, ecu etc etc.

3) Body Kit. The individual components can be bought separately.

4) 88mm diameter, 1.6mm metal head gasket.

Also may be a stab in the dark......BUT do you know anything about HKS using an Altezza for drifting events?

Mark you mean an additional 90bhp and 190bhp respectivley? raaaaasclat

We haven't been advised of the prices yet, but I would guess at around £5k and £6k respectively.

We will post the prices on our web site when we know for sure.

Surely the clutch and transmission would need changing as well as a load of other parts once the 300 bhp is surpassed?

I should that you are right. Stronger pistons and rods also.

HKS turbo for 3SGE info:

There are 2 types GT-SS and the GT-RS

HKS (GT-SS specification) 233kW (317PS) 327N m (33.4kgf m) /4,950rpm

HKS (GT-RS specification) 273kW (372PS) 360N m (36.7kgf m) /5.050rpm

Compared to the standard:

NA car (V Pro specification) 160kW (218PS) 207N m (21.2kgf m) /4,030rpm

And the 280T:

280T (limited car) 212kW (288PS) 297N m (30.3kgf m) /4,030rpm

not sure about this V Pro spec - the regular outputs are 207 ps at 7200 and peak torque is 6400 - so the V pro is significantly different....
