The 4 cylinder engine is a newer design and has had more R&D into it which is why it produces more power. Most of it's power however is high up the rev range and therefore is not really 'Lexus'

The 6 cylinder engine is used in it's market because it is smooth however it is poor on fuel and emissions and as with most small 6 cylinder engines is not good on low down torque.

so tte compressor is best bet? i read it gives 32% more power or something? how does it work? and how much is it? and since i'm on a role asking questions- does the lexus is200 sport with the lsd do doughnuts....ooh and one last question- what does the is200 sport do 0-60- i read 9.5 but thats to 62mph which i assume involves a third gear change near the 60 mark- does it do 8s to 60mph?....appreciate any info!! cheers
