How Ro Remove The Rear Speakers

does any one no how to remove the 6x9 speakers so i can put my new ones in tried to get the covers off but seem to be stuck is there any easy way :duh: :duh: :Du thanks h: :duh: :duh: :duh:

remove rear seat, remove rear pillar trims, remove shelf, remove speakers :)

Don't forget that the stock speakers are really two seperate ones on each side which have 2 inputs to each speaker. One bass only and one mid and treble only

how do the raer seats come out i found two bolts under the sear for the back done them and carnt seam to see any more?????

there are four bolts similar in horizontal postion as the two you found.

then remove headrests and then push the seat up and it will come out.

The bottom of the rear seat pulls off (with some effort) the top has four bolts along the bottom, and is hook on at the top (push seat upwards.

You then have to pull off the rear pillar trims and then pull up the shelf!

... A good time to hoover out! :D

done but couldnt get the rear shelf out so put it back try agian another day i think its too hot out side you reckon that shelf comes off easy. you must be joking

Its only got a a few plastic lugs

Hey is it possible to post some pictures cause i don't have a clue which bolts and plastic lugs to pull out at the back:( I have spent many an hour trying sort this problem out.

i think it's blatently obvious once you remove the seat

Guys,

the 4 12mm bolts holding the back part of seat in place, are stiff, rock solid..

any suggestions for getting them off?

What are you using to take it off a spanner?

Try using a longer extension on a socket wrench. That should help it get it off.
