Try not to laugh people!! :crybaby:

Tried doing a headlight mod on my car, and I've melted one of them in the corners a bit, so now load of condensation builds up in the light.

I've seen some euro headlights on eBay, and asked the seller what was the difference. he said it was just the glass at the front... Is this right??

If I changed the front on my one for europe ones would this work!?

i messed my headlights up doing the mod, the grey plastic bit around the headlight is 'warped'

I get condensation in the n/s headlight but not the o/s

suppose i'll get some more one day!

£150 for a pair of headlights from the breakers.

a few of us have suffered from this and had replacements under warranty so it may not have been you.

i take it you were getting rid of the orange strip and possibly spraying the chrome bits another colour? i'd like to do that to mine but havent got the time to have a play at the mo, and the fact that id probably melt them too puts me off a little!

i hear different things about peeps modding their lights, some members have no problems at all with the oven and some say that the heat gun doesn't work that well and vice versa. i guess you just gotta be careful!

another question about headlights, do the IS300 ones fit the 200? I know obviously they are HID so they would be a little different but can you take parts from 200 headlights and add them to the 300 headlights to work?

I know in america they do the opposite with the jdm style ones.

Why i'm asking is because a called a breakers and they had some for sale but didnt know if it would work?

The IS300 lights would fit but with some major mods to where clip ends meet the body, the wing etc, the only person that could answer your question is Zee :zee: , as he has had the IS200 LE lights fitted to his motor, trust me they look the beez neez.. as we saw them at the Gaydon Meet.

In answer to your question - the IS300/IS200 Limited Edition Headlamps will fit your IS200, however, both the headlamps, the housings in your engine bay and your inner wing will need modifying to accomodate the units....
