I had 4 new Michelin tyres fitted 18 months ago. Both fronts tyres wore the outside edges off in 10000 miles so my local garage swapped the backs to the fronts and now 10000 miles later I need to get new tyres all round. They tell me this is normal?

If that is the case has anyone had better that 10000 miles out of any other brand of tyre.

I use Michelins on my GS Mk2 and get at least 25k on the fronts with much more on the rears. I don't believe in swapping tyres to even out wear.

I think its time for a tracking check. Note you are in Hertfordshire - Lexus Hatfield have all the right equipment.
