Driving In Europe

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Nipping over to France soon, and just wondering if my 2001 IS200 has got a way of changing the headlights so they don't dazzle other drivers? Maybe a manual switch on the light itself or something like that?

Otherwise it's those nasty black patches I guess!!!!??

Thanks for any advice

Tony

Don't think you can change them mate as a couple of the fellas have been selling Continental lights which aren't suitable for use over here.

Just stick to the conversion kits like you say..

You can get clear stickers which is what I've used in the past. I've only bothered when going for more than a couple of days.

I used Halfords own, but its probably worth checking what your dealers sells as they will be a better fit.

Don't worry about it Tony - When Goosey and I drove over to TTE in Feb, we just dipped the beams slightly.... no probs...

as above - dont bother with beam deflectors - i have been here for a few years now and have only been flashed about 2 or 3 times , in fact i get dazzled by more french cars than anything.
