Since I have my 40K service very soon, which means a couple of hours hanging around the dealership waiting for it to be done...

I had a thought...

You see, unfortuantly, I have to take my car for a service during working hours.. (and its a lot easier for me to wait, rather than have pick-up or courtesy car), it would be great if the dealerships could offer a wireless access point in the showroom...

You already have a network, and for a small outlay, you could have the wireless access available, allowing people to work, or say how good the coffee is on LOC... while they wait...

I know it would make my life easier...

That would be nice. A bit more complex than it first appears as the last thing they want is people hacking their systems or spreading viruses etc.

Still it might be a way of getting a latest copy of the EPC

I had thought about doing this a few months ago but never really got into any detailed plans.

It is something I will probably do in the future, how long it takes will depend on feed back from my customers.
