Hi dose anyone please know the gray colour code on GS300 Mk 1 standard wheels

just to touch up, and can I get it from Halfords.

your best bet is to see if a paint shop can match the paint colour

re-spray them all thats what i say... just dont do it in the bathroom..lol

but if its just a touch up.. the pens are the best..

No the wheels are not that bad for a respray and I dont fancy haveing to get a NEW BATH

I will go and get a pen touch up from Halfords silvers not to hard to match I think

But I could always phone Lexus and get the right colour from them (they are such nice people) :winky:

Went to my local Auto Parts shop The guy takes one look at my wheels and says its the light silver, and gives me a can of paint, try it out and SPOT ON, Sorted :D

Alloy wheels are generally not painted. They are powder coated. This gives a much tougher finish. I have tried touching in the chips etc with silver paint, but it never looks right. Usually there is a layer of white corrosinon on the surface where the coating has been that needs to be cleaned off. You will also need to prime the alloy before you paint it and you need to get a good 'seal' with the original coating otherwise the alloy corrodes and the paint lifts. You can get your wheels refurbished. They grit blast the wheels and powder coat them. I think it costs about £50 per wheel.
