There are several issues here so I guess you need to consider your priorities over the word "best". For example do you want the best looking, the best power, the best quaility, the best filtration, the most expensive etc?

Generally I think it is fair to say that the metal intake pipe varieties look great but suffer more from heat soak, and any system that does not have or offer an air scoop will have higher intake temperatures. Higher intake temperatures means less power.

I don't have access to any data that compares the different brands so I can't help you on that.

However what testing we have done (on other cars) generally indicates that HKS are about the best for power (but not for filtration), that heat soak should be kept to a minimum, and that as much cold air as possible should be fed to it.
