Noise When Breaking

Hi Chaps

I have noticed over the last week, that when braking at slow speeds, there is a strange noise coming from the drivers side front wheel. I am thinking it sounds like a caliper thats getting sticking and not releasing straight away, has anyone else had this problem? I guess the next step is to get the wheel off and check the caliper and grease it up? :duh:

Any ideas as to what it could be would be appreciated. :zee:

Have you got grooved discs on yours Nick ?

Me and my bro looked yesterday, the disc looks fine and from what we could see there was plenty of pad left.

Looks like I am gonna need to get the wheel off and check it over... Still good excuse to paint the calipers at last!

Had similar thing on mine. Took it to a tyre & brake place. Pads OK, but where wearing slightly differently on the disk so was a very slight burring on the disk, causing the noise. Means eventually will have to replace disks.

BTY my caliper seized recently, you know when that happens, noise is awful.
