Changed My Spark Plugs To Denso Ik20

Old plugs NGK IFR6A11 (90000 KM like recommended):

ALL the six and No. 5 an 6!!

New spark plugs: Denso iridium Power IK20

Just want to tell you to check the plugs before they look like mine. Or change them earlier. I'm not happy with the quality of NGK.

I thought Denso is OEM on Lexus? Not NGK :shutit:

Be sensible for your Motor. Have a sense for a nervously running engine on low revs. This is what mine did.

Belive me that I was very afraid as I saw the last spark plug. Couldn't belive it. Very sad.

But now I'm running on full power. Nice :hehe:

You can get them (standard Denso Iridium) from the dealers mate but they charge a premium.

You can get these plugs off eBay cheaper and they're better too (iridium Power vs standard Iridium)

Didn't take long for mine to turn up and I'm happy with the IK20's.

Plus they'll be a good mod that you'd need when you get your charger :winky:

Still cheaper to get the better one's off eBay mate - think it was something like £12 a plug I paid at the dealers in my 60k service.

Can't find the reciept though.

The one's off eBay were better and cheaper.

Why can't everything off eBay be like that :P

Yep, bent over and done dry :crying:

I'll have to have a look now as it's doing my head in - does £60 sound more like it?

Can remember at the time I was gutted as I hadn't had the plugs replaced long before I had the IK20's fitted with the charger.

chucked in "worldwide" search on eBay.co.uk search page.

Got loads of results from US/canada....

So I am looking at iridium IK20 plugs x 6.

Is there any other model spec I am needing to be looking out for within the Denso ik20 range, eg a part number specific or anything?

With the next exact reply to assist me, I will then be a proud purchaser of some denso plugs before the day is out too!!!

where did the broken-off bit on no.6 end up?

:o

No problem. They exploded into nano particles and didn' damage the cylinder.

I bought 3 packages of 4 and sold 6 of the IK20 to a friend ;)

My engine now runs nice and smooth (no wonder after these damaged sparke plugs). I like/recommend them. Now I have to see how much miles I am able to run on these plugs.
