All I know is 6000K will generate a LOT of heat !!! I changed my stock bulbs (about 2800K methinks  ) for Phillips Bluevision the other day and at 4000K there is a noticeable difference in heat when you place your hands on the headlamps

I'm not sure but 6000K seems a lot to be road legal?

Colour temp. has nothing to do with the heat the bulbs produce. It's just the colour of the light. The amount of heat given off is due to the power of the bulbs (wattage) and their efficiency.

EuroDezigns 9006 bulbs are 55w so there shouldn't be any problem with overheating the lens or the wiring.
