well as per that web link i posted.. your mate would have bought one of these for his automatic grage door, plus it turns itself off after 5 seconds in case it is interfering with any other system..

It was suggested the sld920 may be a little more intelligent than the lrc100.

It analyses the incoming signal and responds in a way which doesn't trigger the 'being jammed' error on the originating gun.

That's what i read anyway :P
