Kerbed Alloys

About last month i got a new set of 4 alloys and today i have kerbed one pretty badly. Does any one know if this can be reapired and how, without refurbing the whole wheel . Thanks

Why don't you want to do the whole wheel as it would be a better job wouldn't it?

Prestige and Pristine are supposed to do a great job but I think they do the whole wheel.

If you get quote a lot of money I think refurbs are only about £80+vat from a Lexus dealer.

i don't really want to pay that much considering i paid about £320 jus last month for the set of refurbed alloys from lexus.

Might be worth contacting a local place as I'm sure I read on here of people who've had one alloy sorted for something like £30??

Its usually about £50 ish to get a wheel refurbed

You could always have a go at doing it yourself though ;)

try rubbing the rough edges off with a bit of fine wet and dry , then sealing it against wet/salt etc with the laquar (spelt wrong i think ?) that comes with the touch up paint . also if you move the wheel to the passenger side of the car you won`t keep looking at it when you get in !
