Adjusting Headlight Level

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I have recently noticed that one of my headlights (the right one) seems to be aimed a little bit lower than my left one. At first it didnt bother me, but it is starting to get annoying and affecting my visibility.

Does anyone know how to manually aim the headlight? Autolevelling is fine since both move equally when I first turn them on. OTher wise I might goto my dealer to get them to fix it

There are 4 bolts on the back of the headlight, 2 for the main beam and 2 for the high beams. Do I use these? If so, which ones do I use and which way to turn?

Here are pics of each of them:

Had the exact same query myself and here's what I was told....

Haven't had a chance to do any adjustment yet..........

The right beam should be lower than the left (at least it always has been on any car I've ever owned) but I know what you mean............ when on my own in the car with headlight leveller up full the right dipped beam doesn't give you much range............ I intwend to wind mine up a bit and if its a problem when I have rear passengers then that's what the leveller is for in my opinion !!!!!!!
