Done Mods To Your Car?

Phoned up Direct Line today to tell them about mods to my car etc, Told them I have, Evo style Spoiler, New wheels, New Exhaust, New Lowered Suspension, etc etc they quoted me an extra £170.00 then I asked them what it would be when I get the rest of the body kit on and he said it will come down to £130.00. I was puzzled by that so I had to ask why, and he said the Kit will make the rest of the stuff look more standard and less of a risk.!!!!

I just have the same sort of thing with Elephant.

If I add front/rear spoilers and grill as seperate items it costs more than adding a full body kit. They see the body kit as one mod rather than several. However they don't class the spoilers and grill as a body kit so I need to list them individually.

Are these mods just 'declared' or covered?

With Elephant/Bell direct/Admiral they are just declared. Doing some online quotes each minor mod seems to add about £20.

When i Spoke to Direct Line they asked me the cost of the mods. So i guess they are covered??

I'll find out more when i ring em back
