i put on a set of 17inch 5 spokes off the gs300 sport onto my is200 and im unsure if they are ok for the car as im gettin a clunking sound when turning and also slight rubbing on full lock these wheels have 225/45 17 tyres on them , does anyone know if they are too wide for the car

just foned lexus glasgow , and they reckon a piece of the arch liner has to be cut as when you fit the 18s to the is200 as they are wider (225 instead of 215) so the same possibly as the 17s of a gs model they reckon the nearside catches a little bit , so im gonna have to pop down the garage now and check this out , im not too sure though as i reckon if you fit a standard part there should be no worrying sounds at all , dont wanna risk damaging anything on the car and it was the 200sport ones i wanted but heh cant have it all and i paid 800 quid for them including new toyo tyres so dont wanna waste money
