If engine was indeed running…….Is the air intake in the same DAFT place the Rav4’s was……low down in a bliddy wheel arch…..? Academic in this case methinks……..write off richt enough.

The original and Mk2 Rav 4's had air intakes higher up.  I regret selling my Mk2.  They became less utility/rugged and more road/fashion oriented after the first few models.  The owner of that RX must be pretty sick...that car may not see the road again.

Colleague of mine thought he could get his nearly new company car through the notorious ford near Rufford Park Notts a few years back.....

Car got swept away, it was 3 days before the fire brigade retrieved it!
