Windscreen Chips

Recommended Posts

if it happens to be cracked then get it replaced for £50 on the insurance. Had mine done recently, the guy said whoever put the last one in hadn't bonded it in properly, lucky really. Much better now.

Gonna use metal polish to polish the stonedinks out of my headlights

(when I get round to it)

better late than never really but there is a product called micromesh you can buy in incredibly fine grits this stuff will polish glass and plastic (pretty much anything in fact) so if you chip a headlight this could be the stuff for you (to give you an example its used to polish the canopies on harriers if they get damaged)

There's a kit you can buy where you stick a pad on the windscreen and then attach a syringe with a filler in it. I bought one years ago. There's also a professional service to do the same thing.
