Any of you good people interested in a good quality big brake conversion ? Twill come with high quality cross drilled/slotted discs.

Again expressions of interest only required. This will dictate the price !!

I'll get pics and full specs if enough of you are interested.

I'll be getting a set myself as with 300 + bHp i'll need it (plus parachute  )

You will be able to specify caliper colour as well :whistling:

me me me me, i need new discs badly, as mintex $%^& me over on delivery again! no fair. For me i would love a larger set of discs and a set of 4 pots for the front.

Who would be supplying the components?

Big brake calipers together with bigger rotors will give beter braking performance since the the pads/rotor area will be bigger.

The biggest difference will be when you use your brakes extensively. The biggest advantage is that the bigger brakes will give less fading and will still keep their stopping power after an intensive (street? :) ) race.

The main reason for drilled rotors is to reduce the rotor weight, so theoretically it will not improve the stopping power.

OK,

Same deal as the HID's looking to import 1 big brake conversion kit for evaluation.

Fargo will trail them for me providing a how to guide c/w with pics and a review.

This will enable you to make an informed decision on buying a set.

Dave

Wanted to trial em myself but HM c & e may have smelt a rat :whistling:

what about having a kit where you supply larger diameter discs and a set of brackets to re-locate the standard caliper further out?

could be a bit cheaper and less effort to install.
