latest update on these wheels

these 2 rims (RSX)are also suitable for the GS or LS. You can mount 235/40/18 on these wheels.

These are one piece wheels.

Btw on the Racing harts ... the ones that I have are one-piece rims and are the smooth ones (without the screws/pins side). That one is a multi-piece wheel and much more expensive (prob. 2 - 3 times more expensive).

Dave

would like to see a pic of them

the smooth cr`s

when will these be available?

OK,

My supplier sent me the following email in response to barries nuts question

First on the wheels, new normal chromed nuts are approx. GBP6 for 20

nuts, but I asked the supplier to include these.

As alternative, they can also buy these special light weighted forged

nuts. You can get these in red, blue, silver, titanium color.

These are GBP40 for one set.

Pic to follow

definately want a set of the titanium nuts. can i ask what that open ended thing is about tho? will my wheel wrench be able to fit over it to gain a good seating?

and will it being open ended let in water and cause a seizure especialy once we get salt on the roads in da winter?

can we source some rubber grommets or sumfin to go in there ?

but i stillwant a set tho!

you know what..........ive even posted a guide to offsets in the wheel section..........ive posted all the possible offsets available, and what offsets fit what wheels etc etc......................

yet i still dont understand offsets.......

what is the concequence of the 48 ...... offset on the car, my Volks are an offset of 45 front and rear

am i right in assuming that a 48 moves the mounting face away from the centre line by 48mm.., there fore meaning the wheel mounting face is......3mm further away from the hub than with my Volks.

can someone who REALLY understands offsets explain please.

My limited understanding is that the higher the number the further out everything moves...so yes you are correct.

Hopefully Colin will be along shortly.

wrong !!

the higher offset means that the centre line will be in towards the car

the lower offset will push it out

offset is the distance between the rear of the hub to the centre of the rim

so... on mats volkes an offset of 45mm and a width of say 200mm

this puts the outer face of rim 100mm (1/2 full width) less offset of 45mm at a distance of 55mm from the drum hub face

on a 48mm offset this would be a distance of only 52mm

i think they would fit !

but you would have to ensure there is room for caliper clearance
