so what do people think about my idea for the placement of the filter. Its kinda obvious realy isnt it?

I would be very carefull with that one mate, the filter is extremely vulnerable in that position and is open to loads of muck and crap, not to mention extreme moisture in bad weather which would mean having to clean it every week, plus I would always be wondering if it is still attached and at high speeds you would be able to hoover the road up

If you were to pass a tube through the botom of the inner wing, I would leave the filter where it is, and just pass some flexi ducting through to direct air near to the filter.

In essence, it was a good idea though.

i suppose it is open to a few elements there but that just means the idea needs to be refined. and i have plenty of those!

Also have tons of 100mm dia flexible aluminium ducting so i can have a play with a few ideas.

Will report back when i have tinkered a little more.
