mowcopman 0
I've been browsing E-Bay for some spark plugs for my '94 LS400 and found this link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW These plugs are Unipart GSP2062 and allegedly fit LS400, Ford Galaxy, Transit and some Mitsubishis. The starting bid for a pack of 10 is £4.99!!! If the Galaxy plugs fit the LS400, nobody ever needs to buy from Lexus again as Ford are bound to be cheaper. Any comments? ColinBarber 1,939
I guess they will be okay if they fit and are the correct heat rating for the engine. Just have to change them 3 times as often. No need to buy from Lexus anyway. Lots of OEM and uprated Denso plugs on ebay.
dannyson 0
I agree with Colin. Stick with Nippon Denso. They make most of the electrical stuff for Lexus/Toyota. Unipart is Austin/Rover Sh-te.
mowcopman 0
I ended up buying some NK Iridiums from a fellow in California, via E-bay, cost ---- $46 +$5 p&p. Royal Mail put a sticker on the package requiring extra payment of £8-42 but seeing as though the postman didn't ask, I got away with it. I still wonder what Ford or Mitsubishi specify. While trying to save money is one thing, spoiling t'whole thing for a h'apporth of tar is another! Cheap is cheap for a reason. Ford plugs? Drive an Escort! The Lexus engines are the best around, so put the best plugs you can in them! (Just find the best deals within those parameters
