Just got an update on my new engine............

all going ahead nicely.........all steel bottom end....rebored block 2.1 ltr :hehe:

reworked cylinder head................FCON pro a la monster to raise the rev limit :whistling:

stage 2 pulley upgrade..........

piece de la resistance.........no fuel line upgrade but custom made bigger injectors :lol::lol:

Looking at about 270/280 bhp for normal commuting :winky:

then 100 NOS jets for those little M/Way blasts :lol::lol::lol::lol:

better get some fancy radar detectors :whistling:

when you do the stage two pully upgrade do you have to change the intercooler? its just i was wondering if when i have my supercharger fitted that maybe i should just put that on at the same time????

there was a thread back along which questioned the cost/BHP gain of the bigger intercooler............

How long is she in the garage for then?

Doing it in two stages.

new engine f/con fitted

car run in

stage 2 upgrade/100bhp nos jets done

so a week each time probably :winky:

twill be the fastest 1G-FE engined IS200 me thinks :driving::whistling:

We'll try that first.

In the past we have had to uprate the fuel lines, pump and regulator etc but this may not be necessary now that we have larger injectors and the FCON.
